Normally these machines are only 0.01 Frames per second apart in VEAI with the 5900x-3060 being the slower. The second has a B550 Motherboard, Ryzen 9 5900x, 64GB of DDR4 3200 ram, a 1TB Samasung 970 Evo Plus and an EVGA RTX 3060(non-Ti) XC. One has a b450 motherboard with a Ryzen 9 3900x, 64GB of DDR4 3200 ram, a 2TB Samasung 970 Evo Plus and an EVGA RTX 3060Ti XC. I have 2 computers that are very close to the same configuration. For my case it is not a software issue but a hardware issue. I have a warning about processing speed in VEAI. Unable to post media or link to gyazo gifs, I can’t share visual examples of what I’m seeing. (I’m trying to max bitrate and other options to preserve as much data as possible)Īny recommendations for how to clean this up would be much appreciated!

Is it the codec that topaz is using to play back the premiere file that’s introducing this interlacing? When I watch the original being played back in topaz it seems to have weird interlacing that I don’t see in the source when viewing in premiere (that is then being picked up in the VEAI output). The algorithm that looks the best is Artemis Low Quality, but it seems to be introducing weird interlacing in its output. I’m trying to restore some old home movies that I have on DVD (transferred from film some years ago).
